I was eliminated during jury selection for a DWI criminal case in Dallas County Criminal Court #8 today and was able to go home around 12:15 while the six that were selected had to serve the rest of the day.

Had a good time at the golf range at LB Houston course yesterday. Still couldn't get many drive longer than 200 yards. Got to work on it a little more because some of the holes are 350 yards and longer.
Had a good planning session for the second quarter activities for our youth group today. Though we planned on covering both the second and third quarters but we could only got through with the second quarter. Will have to do the third quarter sometimes later. Had good noodle soup at ThaoTrinh's place.
Then we had some of the "banh xeo" at MS's house while my brother was helping the kids with their homework.
Booked my hotels, car rental and airplane tickets for the Texas Republican state convention in San Antonio from June 3rd through 5th. The vacation request for both this convention and the Vietnamese District conference in July were approved by my senior manager today.
Also booked the airplane tickets for the Vietnamese District conference but still have the hotels and car rental to worry about. We haven't decided how many days will be in San Diego and how many days in Los Angeles.
Still trailing the #1 guy but not by much: 46 units only. Should be able to achieve #1 next week.

Went to the Republican 8th senate district convention today. Several elected officials spoke throughout the meeting. The state convention is going to be in San Antonio from June 3rd to 5th. Got to start booking tickets, hotel and car rental as well as putting in vacation request at work.
If it does not rain, I and my brother are going to the golfing range later today.
The 2004 world figure skating champion was quite interesting, especially with that guy getting out on the ice and taking off his clothes right when Michelle Kwan was warming up. I really feel sorry for the Italian national champion with her falls.

We finished the book "The purpose driven life" by Rick Warren yesterday at our weekly small group meeting. I actually had listened to the audiobook CDs a while back but actually sitting down and reading it provided additional benefits.
The two little booklets by Scripture Union arrived today: Encounter with God and Discovery, both are for the second quarter.

I was coughing badly the whole day today. Lost my voice and had to reschedule two meetings for Wednesday.
I did work out and go to the Grace Hospice training however. It was with the social worker today. We will have our last training on Saturday, April 3rd and the initial visit with our assigned patient.

I really enjoyed the Springbreak camp this year with Dallas, Houston and Austin youthgroups together.
What a difference a year made. I even went along and did a little skit about Judah, Er, Onan, Shelah and Tamar, with me as Tamar and four other girls playing Judah, Er, Onan, Shelah.
This is the first year we started on Thursday night and through Sunday morning instead of Friday night through Sunday morning like that previous time.

Went to the second session of training at Grace Hospice today. Learned quite a few little pieces of knowledge that I didn't know before.
Finish updating my DD today so I should be working on the TP tomorrow for Disaster Recovery.
Talked to Kevin and got the fax from Diane. Need to fill in the number and fax it back to her tomorrow.

We were going to play tennis after church but the court was still wet from yesterday all day rain so it was I and aLoc playing ping-pong while my brother and the highschool and college kids went to see The Passion of the Christ, after they ran into a sold out last Sunday.

The primary turnout was really low. We didn't get any more than 3% turnout for the Republican one. The Democratic one was even worse.
The precinct convention went well. Three people including me was there for our precinct. We are sending 21 resolutions to the senatorial district convention.

Overclocking my AMD 2600 to 2.2MHz and it's been running for 48 hours now pretty stable. Tried 2.3MHz but it's not running too stable at that speed. I am in need of some freeware to allow me to monitor the CPU temperature from system tray. The VCool I had can no longer detecting the new chipset.
The feature I am working on at work has visibility all the way to the VP. Just finish it late today, or make it yesterday considering the time this is written.
Went to see The Passion of the Christ. It's really good except that when Pontius Pilate washed his hand of Jesus' blood, the movie didn't have the Jews saying that Jesus' blood will be on their heads and their children's.

Got my KVM automatic switch and it's working good without any shadow. The returned manual KVM switch has been delivered, will watch for the refund. Got the refund from overstock.com for the watch I returned. My barebone from unitedmicro.com is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, March 2nd.
