The mission of the Vietnamese-American Public Affairs Committee (VPAC) is to enhance political awareness and to promote the participation of the Vietnamese-American community in the mainstream political system.

I. Objectives
- To facilitate opportunities for policy makers and elected officials to meet, exchange perspectives, and discuss identified issues with the Vietnamese American community.
- To mobilize American constituents of Vietnamese origin to participate actively in the mainstream political system.
- To empower interested Vietnamese-Americans, especially the younger generation, to be engaged in various levels of government.
II. Activities
VPAC's activities focus on strengthening a grassroots network of Vietnamese-American leaders and activists to work on issues concerning the community:
- Developing and strengthening VPAC through a diversity of projects and initiatives.
- Expanding membership.
- Organizing conferences, seminars, forums to discuss issues concerning the community.
- Mobilizing constituents to exercise their right to vote.
- Supporting elected officials and policy makers in the interest of the community.
- Networking with other political organizations, parties and government bodies.
- Assisting candidates with their political campaigns.
III. Membership
- Membership is open to all who agree with the mission statement and objectives of VPAC.
- Annual membership fee is $30. All financial contributions are welcome.
- Members are encouraged to attend chapter meetings as well as to participate in VPAC initiatives.
