The Texas Women's Initiative put on a great reception at the Belo last night. The honorees included Agriculture Commissioner Susan Combs, Elizabeth Ames Jones, chairman of the Railroad Commission, the Texas 5th Court of Appeals chief justice Linda Thomas, and State Representative Linda Harper-Brown.
